The Caltech EAS Trailblazers Symposium was a meaningful and affirming experience during my postdoctoral training. It provided thoughtful guidance on the academic job market, valuable feedback on my job talk, and opportunities for early networking. I am deeply grateful to Prof. Harry Atwater, Prof. Austin Minnich, Prof. Joern Callies, and their team for their mentorship and support. The strong sense of community fostered by the symposium left a lasting impression, and I would highly recommend it to anyone preparing to enter the academic job market.

The Caltech EAS Trailblazers Symposium is an incredible opportunity for young researchers preparing for the academic job market. I attended as a postdoc, and it helped me navigate the process, refine my job talk, and build meaningful connections before interview season began. It also gave me a strong sense of the community and support at Caltech, and I’d recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone entering the academic job market.

The Trailblazers program helped me tremendously in shaping my research vision and how to communicate it. I attended as a grad student and I hadn't thought too much about the process of faculty applications and developing a short-to-long term vision. The program gave me practical advice on these topics (of which I still think of right now as faculty!) and helped me familiarize myself with visits to other universities
